While your clients may lament over the which property to choose, their choice to stay with The Zanzibar Collection is an especially easy one since they run their business with the well being of their neighbors in mind. They have not only invested in growing their property portfolio on Zanzibar, but have also made the decision to invest in the Zanzibari people as well. A full 90% of the staff of The Zanzibar Collection are graduates of the local hotel school. Through enrollment in hospitality training programs and intensive English classes, the islanders acquire skills that not only benefit their careers, but also help to grow the hospitality industry on Zanzibar.

The Zanzibar Collection has also formed a charity, Baraza for Bwejuu, that’s responsible for improving life in the nearby village of Bwejuu. Since its inception, this charity has built a mosque, repainted the Bwejuu clinic, and supplied the clinic with fresh water, medicine, beds, clothes, school supplies, and books. Once a year the folks at The Zanzibar Collection go to the village to clean the beaches, paint the clinic and celebrate another year of working together with the local community. They also sponsor an annual football match with the winning proceeds used to buy uniforms and coach the youth of nearby villages.

Guests are often so touched by the friendly locals they meet while on the island, that they send gifts and donations to help support the surrounding villages. We know that your clients will also fall in love with the charm and allure of the spice island. Visit The Zanzibar Collection website to get started on your client’s next journey, and let us know how we can help as well.

Uganda prides itself on being home to myriad unique and special animals, including zebra. Zebra’s black and white stripes are familiar to most, but interestingly, each animal’s pattern is unique which, along with their call and scent, helps a foal identify their mother.

Zebra are members of the horse family and are social animals that live in herds and sleep standing up – the same as a horse. An interesting theory is that zebra move in herds to confuse predators, since a moving group of zebra creates one large flickering mass of stripes making it hard to zero in on a target. The expert guides at Speke Uganda Holidays are well versed on the behavior and habitat of the fascinating zebra and will share their knowledge with your clients while on game drives in Uganda’s beautiful parks.

Both Lake Mburo National Park and the more remote Kidepo Valley National Park are home to large populations of zebra. Clients seeking full immersion into the culture andwildlife of Uganda should choose the 21-day Uganda Wilderness Camping Adventure offered by Speke. Traversing the country’s highlights, this excursion includes visits to Queen Elizabeth National Park, fabulous Murchison Falls National Park and of course game drives among the abundance of zebra at both Lake Mburo and Kidepo Valley National Parks. Your clients will be delighted with the variety of activities on their Uganda adventure that include boat cruises, game drives, gorilla trekking and visits to local communities and to sites of prehistoric rock paintings.

Would your clients like to step into a world where they can dine by candlelight, savor the taste of exotic spices, discover the untouched corals of the ocean, pamper themselves at a luxurious spa, or simply relax in tranquil and beautiful surroundings? Situated on a beautiful private beach in an area of Zanzibar that is close to a local village and far from other hotels is the family owned and operated Breezes Beach Club. Congratulations are in order for the Breezes team as once again this lovely place has been recognized for its excellence as one of the Top 10 Hotels in Tanzania by the 2016 Trip Advisor Travelers’ Choice Awards.

Activities at the Breezes Water Club include kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing, snorkeling and diving, just to name a few. Clients can also relax and indulge at the renowned Swahili style Frangipani Spa.

The staff at Breezes is also fond of taking guests on a traditional tour of their beloved island that begins with a leisurely cruise around the mangroves in a traditional Swahili dhow. Guides point out the abundant marine life thriving in the forests and instruct guests on how to hand line fish as it has been done on the island for hundreds of years. This is just one small way that the reefs and marine life are preserved on the island as there is no trolling or mass fishing. The boats do not anchor but rather drift with the currents while your clients fish. Their catch will then be brought back to the chef and prepared for their dinner that evening.

Visit the Breezes Beach Club website to view the complete list of activities and to view all the amenities offered at this beautiful all-inclusive resort. Your clients that are able to book 6 months in advance will receive a 10% discount. Let us know if you have any questions or would like any additional information as you plan your clients’ escape to Zanzibar Island.

For over a hundred years East Africa has drawn adventurers, travelers and romantics from across the globe. The enchanting people, unforgettable wildlife and stunning landscapes are what make Kenya the home of the classic African safari.

The Masai Mara Game Reserve is Kenya’s finest with its consistently moderate climate and gentle rolling grasslands that ensure animals are abundant. Birds are also prolific here, with over 450 species on record including migrants and birds of prey.

Throughout the year the Masai Mara is a place of natural drama – a true kaleidoscope of color and life. Gazelle, topi and eland offer a rich choice of food for predators like lion, leopard and cheetah who hunt in this pristine wilderness. Here, the great herds of shuffling elephants browse among the tree-studded grasslands, while hippo and crocodile lounge by the Mara River.

However, all this majesty of landscape and wildlife pales in comparison to the Mara’s foremost attraction – the mighty march of the wildebeest. This is the most spectacular annual animal migration in the world, with over a million and a half wildebeest and zebra making the crossing over the grand Mara River from Tanzania into Kenya. The sight of this natural wonder is simply breathtaking. Your clients can fly into Nairobi and can arrive in the Masai Mara on a short 45-minute flight or travel there within 5-6 hours by road.

Our partners at Hemingways Expeditions boast over 50 years of experience designing and operating both scheduled and fully custom safaris and cultural tours in East Africa with on-the-ground operations in Nairobi. Their deep and long-standing relationships with the region’s top guides and safari properties ensure that your clients will be in the very best hands as they experience the rich and vibrant diversity of East Africa. Begin planning your clients’ safari by visiting the Hemingways Expeditions website to view some of the options, and please let us know how we can assist you as well.
